Balungi means “beautiful” or “well” in Luganda, the language of my parents' homeland, Uganda. This name reflects not only the beauty of my heritage but also the purpose and love I aim to bring through my brand, Love Balungi.

In 2019, my life changed forever when I lost my mother. Looking for a way to honor her memory and keep her spirit alive, I turned to the world of beauty, which had always fascinated me. Growing up, I would watch my mother in the mirror, gracefully applying her body butter, lip gloss or lipstick, completely in awe of her radiance and confidence. Inspired by those precious moments, I started Love Balungi right from my dining room, channeling my passion for beauty and the memories of my mother’s elegance and strength.

Love Balungi is more than a beauty brand; it is an ode to the incredible woman who still inspires me every day. My mother’s legacy is one of resilience, love, and pride, and I want every product to embody these values. Love Balungi is for everyone, a celebration of all who seek to feel beautiful, confident, and loved.
