The Heart Behind the Brand
Love Balungi was created by Cathy B. Waiswa in honor of her late mother, whose grace and resilience inspired a legacy of love and care. The name “Balungi,” meaning “beautiful” or “well” in Luganda, reflects the values of self-care and confidence Cathy’s mother instilled in her.
Starting from her dining room, Cathy handcrafts every product with love, ensuring the highest quality in each small batch. Her mission extends beyond skincare—she dreams of creating generational wealth, mentoring others, and uplifting communities both locally and in Uganda.
